The questions in this section (in the menu column on the left) reflect queries that the Association receives, or that are suggested by its members.

You may well find more comprehensive answers to your question in our Barge Buyers Handbook, on sale in our shop.

The answers come from the Association's membership. Each is drafted by a member, and then reviewed on the Association's news group / mailing list for accuracy and completeness. Of course, this doesn't mean that they are guaranteed to be correct, but they do at least reflect the experience and opinions of a broad cross-section of the barging community. Corrections and updates are always welcome.

Development of this page began at the start of 2001. Further questions and answers are being formulated continuously, and new ones are posted as soon as they are ready. Contributions from any member are always welcome!
